What you will study
The course covers mechanics, electrical circuits, materials, waves and quantum ideas, fields, particle physics, thermodynamics, nuclear processes, space, gravitation and oscillations. Working scientifically runs throughout.
Assessment and practical work
Three written examinations assess physics knowledge, mathematical application, experimental understanding and data analysis. Practical competence is also assessed through the separately reported Science Practical Endorsement.
