Education Needs a GPS
For much of history, access to information was a primary constraint on education. The internet has largely removed that bottleneck, but the infrastructure surrounding learning has not evolved at the same pace. In this essay, I explore how the challenge has shifted from accessing knowledge to navigating it, and why better feedback systems, curriculum mapping and an understanding of individual learning states could help students allocate their time and attention more effectively. This is one of the core ideas behind KnowledgeSet: education does not simply need more content, but better systems for making use of it.
