KnowledgeSet 1.0.2 gives you more control over what you study, with course options that better reflect your school’s teaching and the exams you’re preparing for. We’ve also expanded our content and made improvements across the app.

Your course, with the options you actually study

Two students taking the same qualification and exam board can study different optional topics. Your school might choose Astrophysics for A-level Physics, while another school teaches Medical physics. You shouldn’t have to keep sorting through options that won’t be part of your final exam.

On supported courses, you can now select the optional topics your school teaches or the options you’re taking in your exam. Your curriculum view then focuses on those choices alongside the compulsory material, keeping unrelated options out of the way. That means less noise when browsing your syllabus and a clearer picture of what you need to cover.

This is available for AQA A-level Physics and AQA GCSE Geography. You can choose your options during account setup and change them later in Settings → Learning setup.

Not sure which options your school has picked? Choose “I don’t know yet” and update your choices when you find out. You can keep using KnowledgeSet in the meantime.

An account that moves with you

You can now change your qualification in Settings, including moving from GCSE to A-level, without starting a new account.

Your learning history stays with your account. When you confirm a change of study level, your current subject, course and optional-topic selections are cleared so you can choose the right setup for your new qualification.

You’ll find this under Settings → Learning setup → Study level. There’s a confirmation before anything changes, so you can review the choice first.

More content, with more on the way

We’ve started adding Geography content and introduced AQA GCSE Geography syllabus support. We’ve also added more notes and flashcards for A-level subjects, alongside updated AQA Combined Science: Trilogy course support.

We’re working hard with our education team this week to add even more notes, flashcards and subject content. Coverage is continuing to grow, and we’ll keep building it out around the courses you study.

Other improvements and fixes

• Fixed issues some people experienced when signing up, verifying their email or resetting their password.
• Refreshed Settings, with clearer account details, learning setup and password-reset access.
• Fixed syllabus links, curriculum navigation and progress-display issues.
• Updated subject banners and improved article images and sharing previews.
• Added Help Centre guides for setting up your account, managing courses, choosing optional topics and changing study level.
